FC Barcelona has agreed to a four-year sponsorship deal with Turkey’s global home appliance brand, Beko.
The deal will see Beko’s new logo, also unveiled on Monday, featured on the sleeve of the new team jersey and training kit. Beko will become the first commercial brand to benefit from a permanent presence on the official team jersey’s sleeve.
The new kit was unveiled today at the Ricard Maxenchs Press Room at FC Barcelona’s Camp Nou stadium in the presence of Josep Maria Bartomeu, President of FC Barcelona Mustafa V. Koc, Koc Holding Chairman of the Board; Javier Faus; Economic Vice President of FC Barcelona and Levent Çakıroglu, President of Koc Holding Durable Goods Group and Arcelik A.Ş CEO; FC Barcelona and Beko will be bringing together their two global brands to help achieve their shared strategic marketing and corporate responsibility objectives.
The partnership will be symbolized by the presence of the Beko logo on the arm of the first team shirt worn for all Spanish League and Cup games during the 2014/15 season, as well as for friendlies and summer tour games.
The Catalan club’s main sponsors are airline Qatar Airways and sporting goods maker Nike, and other partners include carmaker Audi, chipmaker Intel Corp and beverage company Coca-Cola Co.
Beko and FC Barcelona will work together on global marketing and social responsibility strategies.
