It is hard to believe that another year has passed, and 2017 has most certainly seen a huge surge of inquiries at the Foreign Citizens Advice Centre here in Kusadasi.
Issues the office has dealt with range from residence information, property ownership and queries regarding Turkish inheritance law – and these are only to name but a few of the questions asked to the volunteers at the office.
This year The Ege Eye has celebrated its 11th birthday and we launched our brand new website where you can keep up with local and national news. You can also download our monthly paper and catch up with previous issues by going to … theegeeye.com. As well as our website you can also follow us on our Facebook and Twitter pages.
I personally would like to thank all our readers, advertisers and partners for their invaluable support over the past 12 months; I really couldn’t do what I do without you all, and of course I am extremely grateful to everyone who has contributed articles to the paper. A special thank you has to go to Klaus Jurgens who contributes an article every month to The Ege Eye. Anyone is welcome to send in their stories of their experiences living here in Kusadasi; so if you would like to contribute to the paper you only have to e-mail me at: firstname.lastname@example.org.
Everyone here at the Foreign Citizens Advice Centre and at The Ege Eye would like to wish everyone a very happy Christmas and a peaceful New Year – and we look forward to meeting you all again in 2018.
