It has to be determined by the Union of Chambers of Craftsmen and Artisans if hairdressers and barbers will be allowed to increase their prices by 25 percent.
Due to the coronavirus pandemic Selahittin Cetindogan, the head of the union said that insurance and tax debts have accumulated during this period as the businesses have been closed for over 50 days.
He also stated that it must be taken into account that “all materials to be used in hair shaves must be disposable. These will put a burden on barbers and hairdressers. So we will have to make a price adjustment”.
At present the old prices stand until a decision has been made.
