A great night was had by all who attended Kusadasi Paws and Claws ‘Night at the Races’ fund raising event.

Along with the races there was a crazy hat contest and various raffles with some great prizes.

The charitable association also launched their 2020 calendar at the event in which you can read about and see some of the success stories. There are many outlets where you can pick-up a calendar and I will publish these on The Ege Eye Facebook page very soon.  You can also get yours by calling into The Ege Eye where we will have them on sale or alternatively you may message me (Lucy) via our Facebook page and I will reserve you a copy.

For anyone who does not know of the good work that Paws and Claws do here in Kusadasi – they are a group of volunteers who work tirelessly to help the many street animals in our city (and there are plenty).

President of the association Oya Suma Davidson told me that “anyone can volunteer and donations are always welcome. Paws and Claws are funded entirely by public donations and our own fundraising activities; so donations are vital for us to be able to continue our work”.

If you would like to see how the street animals here in Kusadasi benefit from the organization or indeed you would like to volunteer or donate, you can find out how by going to their Facebook page.
