Multi-Branch Türkiye Indoor Championship was hosted by Bursa. In the organization held between 7-18 February, young athletes had the opportunity to showcase their talents. Athletes from Aydin, who achieved success in competitions in many categories, returned from the championship with medals.
While the competitions in the Women’s U18 category witnessed great excitement, athletes competing in the 60-meter hurdles, high jump, long jump, shot put and 800-meter run competed fiercely. Athlete from Aydın, Tuana Akgün, who showed a remarkable performance among young talents from all over Turkey, won the title of Turkish Champion with her successful performance.
Among the athletes competing in the 60-meter hurdles, 60-meter run, high jump, long jump, shot put, pole vault and 1000-meter run in the Heptathlon branch of the Men’s U18 Category, athlete Koray Uygun from Aydın, who left his opponents behind with his performance, became the Turkish Champion.
In the Women’s U16 category, in the Triathlon branch, which includes the 60-meter hurdles, long jump and shot put disciplines, athlete Öykü Ceylin Tekdal from Aydın came third in Turkey with her performance. Tekdal, who competed fiercely, crowned his success by winning the bronze medal.
