A total of 18,468 TL administrative fine was imposed on 9 people who entered prohibited areas within the scope of forest fire measures in Aydın.
Within the scope of preventing forest fires, work was carried out by Aydın Provincial Gendarmerie Command between 17-19 August 2024.
During the patrol activities, people who did not comply with the prohibition orders in line with the commission decision on “Preventive Measures for Forest Fires” could not escape from the gendarmerie.
Within this framework, administrative sanctions totaling 18,468 TL, 2,052 TL per person, were imposed on 9 individuals, 3 of whom entered the Dilek Peninsula National Park, which was closed to visitors between 17-28 August, by boat, 3 of whom were in the Ilicabaşı, Karaköy and Anbarcik neighborhoods of the Efeler district, and 3 of whom were in the İsabeyli neighborhood of the Nazilli district.
It was learned that patrol activities will continue uninterruptedly by the Aydın Provincial Gendarmerie Command in order to protect forests and living creatures and to prevent fires.
