Health Minister Fahrettin Koca reported that the death toll from the coronavirus outbreak rose by 87 to total 812 on April 8th.
New confirmed cases rose by 4,117 which now bring the countries total to 38,226.
To date a total of 1,846 have recovered and have been released from hospital Koca said, emphasizing the rise in the recovery rate.
In the last 24 hours there were 24,900 tests carried out bringing the total number of tests conducted to 247,768.
