Istanbul will be hosting two generations of Iglesias’s this year.
Around five months after next week’s Julio Iglesias concert at the Ulker Sports Arena, Enrique, the 39-year-old son of the veteran singer, will be rocking an Istanbul audience at the KucukCiftlik Park outdoor concert arena, the concert’s Turkish organizers announced in a press release on Thursday.
Enrique Iglesias announced the Aug. 19 concert on Tuesday via his Twitter account, one day before tickets for his gig went on sale online.
The younger Iglesias’ İstanbul concert will be part of his world tour in support of his 10th studio album, “Sex and Love,” released in March 2014 and featuring guest vocals from numerous fellow singers, including Jennifer Lopez, Kylie Minogue, Pitbull and Flo Rida.
The King of Latin Pop will not only perform songs from his latest album but also his previous hits such as “Rhythm Divine” and “Bailamos,” concert promoters Unilife and VolumeUp said in the press release.
