I had the pleasure of meeting Ute Ege Tiralla and her friends for Sunday breakfast in Palm Beach Restaurant yesterday in July.
The group consists of German speaking members who live here and anyone who is on holiday is welcome to come along.
The original group was set up five years ago and then they setup their Facebook group three years ago. They now have approx 1,700 members on their group.
They meet every Sunday at 10am and in the winter, every other Sunday.
The aim of the group is to meet, inform and help each other. Another aspect of the group is to see how they can improve the system of obtaining Government information as it is usually only printed in Turkish and English.
This Wednesday, ı am looking forward to joining the group on a boat trip, which you can read about on page 18 in Augusts’ Ege Eye.
