TÜİK announced the inflation figures for October. Accordingly, the upper limit for the November rent increase rate has been determined. The November rent increase rate will be applied as 62.02 percent after the 12-month CPI data is 62.02 percent.

According to the Turkish Statistical Institute, inflation was 48.58 percent in October. The rent increase rate was determined again according to the inflation data.

Minister Mehmet Şimşek said that 12-month inflation expectations fell to the lowest level in 2.5 years in all sectors. Şimşek said, “It takes time to remove rigidities, but the developments are positive.”

Thus, the ceiling increase rate that can be applied to rents in November has also become clear. The increase rate for October was 62.02 percent.

For example, if the rent is 10 thousand liras, the increase in November will be 6,202 TL. Thus, with this increase, the new rent will be 16,202 TL.
