All vehicles passing through Kuster and Davutlar junction are being inspected by traffic police.
These measures are to be increased in Kusadasi with the police warning people about coronavirus and making inspections for intercity travel restrictions.
The police apparently stopped all vehicles passing from Kusadasi towards Izmir and from Kusadasi towards Aydin
Identity checks and temperatures were taken from people travelling by private car and a fine of 392 lira was issued on cars with passengers aged 65 and over.
