According to the 2024-2025 academic year calendar announced by the Ministry of National Education, the first semester will start on September 9.
According to the “2024-2025 academic year work calendar” circular published with the signature of Minister of National Education Yusuf Tekin. Teachers’ professional work will begin on Monday, September 2, in the new academic year.
Schools will start education on September 9
The first term will begin on Monday, September 9, 2024, and end on Friday, January 17, 2025.
Orientation training will be held on September 2-6 for students who will start pre-school education and first grade of primary school in the 2024-2025 academic year.
Guidance activities will be conducted for students
Necessary guidance activities will be carried out for the 5th grades of secondary schools and imam hatip secondary schools, preparatory and 9th grades of secondary education institutions and students who will stay in boarding houses to inform them about the school, support their academic and professional development and help them adapt to their new educational environment in a short time.
2024-2025 academic year holiday dates
The first semester break will be held on November 11-15, 2024.
The mid-term break will begin on Monday, January 20, 2025, and end on Friday, January 31, 2025. The second term will begin on Monday, February 3, 2025, and end on Friday, June 20, 2025.
The second term mid-term break will start on Monday, March 31, 2025, and end on Friday, April 4, 2025.
