This year Bayrami starts on Saturday the 18th August which is the eve of the actual Bayram known as ‘Arife’.
The full holiday will begin on Sunday the 19th August and will continue until Tuesday 21st.
All banks, many busınesses and shops will close on Monday and Tuesday.
Most of the big supermarkets
don’t close but may have reduced hours .
If you have urgent banking busıness or a bureaucratic process it would be wise to do it before Friday .
If you plan to spend Bayram at home you can expect many children to call to your door so don’t forget to buy your sweets.
