The “verified listing” application, which aims to increase reliability in the real estate sector, will come into effect on September 15. With this regulation, real estate listings will not be published without approval from authorized real estate agents via e-Government. The aim is to prevent consumers from being misled by fake listings. With the new system, manipulations in market prices will also be brought under control.
A new era is beginning in the real estate sector to combat fake advertisements. The “verified advertisement” system, which will come into effect as of September 15, will not publish real estate advertisements without making them official through e-Government.
Advertisers without an authorization certificate may be subject to a fine of up to 100 thousand TL. This regulation will also ensure that market prices are more transparent.
Real estate owners will authorize their real estate agents by selecting their properties via e-Government. The real estate agent will enter the advertisement on the platforms with this authorization. The authorization period will be limited to 3 months.
This new application is also expected to prevent manipulations in market prices. The same regulation will soon be brought to the automotive sector. In addition, property owners without an authorization document may be subject to fines of up to 100 thousand TL.
