Three suspects who stole approximately 2 tons of ornamental pool and waterfall stones from a landscaping company in Aydın’s Kuşadası district could not escape from the gendarmerie teams.
The incident took place in Caferli District. According to the information obtained, gendarmerie teams became suspicious of a vehicle waiting in front of a landscaping business during their patrol. The teams detected a decorative pool and waterfall stones weighing approximately 2 tons in the open-backed vehicle with 3 people inside and questioned the suspects. As a result of detailed investigation, it was determined that the suspects in the vehicle were VS, OK and SE.
It was also determined that the suspect named VS had 6 criminal records, and the suspect named OK had 4 criminal records. Gendarmerie determined that individuals had stolen materials from the land belonging to the landscaping business. While the 3 suspects were taken into custody, judicial proceedings were initiated against them. The ornamental pool and waterfall stones, which were found to be stolen, were also delivered to the business. (IHA)
