Turkey has been announced the fourth largest donor of humanitarian aid in the world and has increased its members in the UN Office for Coordination of Humanitarian Affair donor support group to 27.
According to Turkey’s Foreign Ministry, Turkey will continue to boost its cooperation with the UNOCHA in making important contributions to solve various humanitarian issues.
Turkey is also set to hold the World Humanity Summit in May 2016 for the first time marking the exceptional level of international aid distribution the country has reached, the statement said.
