Turkey sees a major jump in recoveries although confirmed cases have risen by 3,013

Health Minister Fahrettin Koca announced last night that recoveries from the coronavirus have significantly risen from 464 to 786.

The minister also stated that the total number of confirmed cases has risen by 3,013 to a total of 23,934 and that 1,311 remain in intensive care.

In the last 24 hours, 19,664 tests were conducted bringing the total performed in Turkey so far to 161,380.

Yesterday it was reported that a partial curfew was implemented on people under the age of 20. In today news it was announced that this now includes “a 24-hour curfew for people under the age of 20. Previously a similar curfew for people above the age of 65 had been put into effect”.
