I’m one very proud mamma! (Kate Sordabak)

Hi, my name is Esme, I’m 8 years old and live in kusadasi, Turkey. I have very thick and very long hair past my bottom.

Today my mum (Qualified Hairdresser) cut 38cm of my hair off so I can donate it to make a wig for a very special and sick little girl or boy with leukaemia.

I will donate to

(LÖSEV)

Leukaemia and United Nations international children’s emergency fund (UNICEF) Türkiye.

I want to donate in memory my dad’s little brother who tragically lost his fight to leukaemia at the tender age of 6 years old in Aydin Hospital, Turkey.

He sadly lost his sight and all his hair as he become terminally ill and gained his Angel Wings.

His memory is a big part of our lives and in his memory, I want to give my hair to help make a wig for any other girl or boy out there who has lost their hair due to leukaemia. I want to make them smile and make them feel like the prince or princess that they are.

It costs around £700 in the UK to make just 1 wig and I was going to originally donate there so I was hoping I could make that amount of money in sponsorship and donate my hair with the money together. it will go even further over here in Turkey, so we can make someone very very happy, even of just for a little while.

Sadly this wasn’t possible as I could not find a proper donation platform within Turkey (go fund me doesn’t work in this country) and the only way I could take donations is by bank transfer but I wasn’t sure if this would be right for the general public.

We also have PayPal so you can send to csordabak@aol.co.uk

If anyone would like to donate my family and I will be forever grateful.

You can inbox my mum via WhatsApp on +905377421270

I will keep everyone updated on the donation process and when the hair and money has been sent.

I am hoping to get the local media / press involved.

Keep an eye out for updates.

Please help me make a very sick child smile.

Thank you so much.
