According to the Ministry of Health data shows that Aydin province is among one of the Metropolitan provinces where the least number of coronavirus cases have been seen in Turkey.
Information shows that 57 people tested positive in Aydin, two of which died and 3 are in intensive care.
19 patients have recovered and have been discharged from hospital, and have to spend 14 days quarantine at home.
Aydin Provincial Directorate of Health officials pointed out that the rules set by the Ministry of Health “should be followed in order not to reverse the positive picture in the city”.
Officials have called on residents to “stay at home” if there is no need to go out. Anyone who has to work outside should wear masks and follow all hygiene rules.
