TÜİK announced the results of the Address-Based Population Registration System. Turkey’s new population became 85 million 372 thousand 377 people.

The population residing in Turkey increased by 92 thousand 824 people as of December 31, 2023, compared to the previous year. The new population of the country became 85 million 372 thousand 377 people.

While the male population was 42 million 734 thousand 71 people, the female population was determined as 42 million 638 thousand 306 people. In other words, 50.1 percent of the total population was men and 49.9 percent was women.

According to the results of the Address-Based Population Registration System (ADNKS), the foreign population residing in our country(1) decreased by 253 thousand 293 people compared to the previous year and reached 1 million 570 thousand 543 people. 48.6 percent of this population was men and 51.4 percent was women.  Source: Aydin Post
