I love boat trips and this year I have not had the chance to go on one. On Facebook I came across a group called “Angel of the Sea”. I have not been on this one and thought I would try it out.
The boat leaves from Sectur Marina daily and the first thing that impressed me was the hospitality. Jane, her husband Keith, and their young daughter Angel (yes, the boat was named after her) could not have made everyone so welcome.
I was asked if I would like a drink and was shown around the boat. The boat holds between 25-30 people, which was a bonus because on many boat trips it can feel extremely crowed.

One of the best features is seeing your local area from a new perspective. Out at sea you can see the sights previously familiar to you from a whole new angle, which often leads people to acquire a greater appreciation for their local natural spots along the coast as they experience them differently.
The trip takes you to 3 beautiful bays where you can enjoy swimming and cooling off. You can decide if you want to sunbathe on the top deck or enjoy the coolness of the bottom deck.
This was the first time that I can say that I enjoyed the food on a boat trip (I am very fussy). It was freshly cooked, and we had chicken in spice, pasta, spoon salad, dips and bread.
Angel herself deserves her name. She also checked that everyone was happy. She did not hesitate when jumping off the highest part into the water. Of course, we cannot forget the crew. They were very pleasant and always on hand to help.

Being away from traffic jams and noise pollution, listening to the sound of the sea in the background is undoubtedly one of the most relaxing sensations I have had in a long time, and I will be going again before the end of the season.
