It has yet to be decided if a curfew will take place between 1-3 May and this will later be decided by President Erdogan.
Also on the agenda will be whether or not to continue the weekend curfews until the end of Bayram.
Experts have reported that the curfews are of great importance in “breaking the chain” regarding the pandemic.
The President has stated that most people are following the lockdown rules and if this continues, restrictions could be relaxed.
It was also noted that the restrictions should be strictly carried out during Ramadan and then hopefully some sort of normalcy may return to the country after that.
