Health Minister Fahrettin Koca said Yesterday (9th April) Turkey’s death toll from the coronavirus rose by 96 to total 908 and new confirmed cases rose by 4,056 to bring the country’s total to 42,282.
The total number of people recovering and discharged from hospital now stands at 2,142, with 296 recoveries in the last 24 hours and that the country is treating 1,552 patients in intensive care units.
28,578 tests were conducted which now brings the total number of tests carried out to 276,338.
At present Turkey is the 9th on the worlds worst-hit country list and the number of active cases of the coronavirus have risen for the 10th consecutive day.
