In Türkmen Mahallesi Bayram Alalas surprised his wife on the 40th anniversary of their marriage.
The 65 year old retired worker arranged for a band and with the help of his daughter decorated the front of their apartment with flowers and balloons.
A table was set up in the street and Bayram’s wife Hatice Alabaş, could not hide her surprise when she saw what her husband had done.
After cutting the cake the couple danced to the song “Remember Dear” which was played by the band.
Alabaş said that he loved his wife as much as the first day he met her stating that “even remembering our anniversary is the most valuable gift for me. We have lived happily ever since we got married and raised two children. May God make everyone a family like that”.
